The temple, Sri Lakshmi Ganesh Temple and Hindu Cultural Center of Ohio, was registered with Ohio State Treasury in December 2012. The current location/unit/facility started operations on 16th of September, 2012. Sri Satyanarayana Sastry ji is the inspiration behind the temple and its operations.
It is a not for profit (non-profit) organization offering services to the Hindu community in Central Ohio (Columbus) and surrounding areas to promote universal principles of peace, harmony and non-violence, besides offering the community place for the Hindus to fulfill their religious obligations and facilitating Hindu religious prayers and services.
It is also engaged in supporting and promoting India/Hindu cultural values among the community.Temple has been functioning on the support of the community. There is no discrimination or restrictions on public participation and it is open to anyone belong to any religion and class disposition.
